Cinnamon bark oil is distilled from the inner bark of Cinnamomum verum, primarily grown in Sri Lanka. Its dominant compound, cinnamaldehyde (up to 80%), delivers its characteristic warm, sweet-spicy scent and potent antimicrobial activity — but also makes it one of the most sensitising oils available.
